Ask a question01Do I need coding experience to join from Downtown Boston?
No — SQL is taught from scratch, no prior programming required.
02What tools are covered?
SQL, Looker Studio / Google Data Studio, and spreadsheet-based analysis.
03How is this different from Data Science & AIML?
This focuses on SQL, dashboards and reporting; the AIML course covers predictive modelling and ML deployment.
04Is there a certificate for Downtown Boston students?
Yes — a certificate of completion plus a portfolio dashboard project.
05How much does the Data Analytics course cost for Downtown Boston students?

06What's the difference between this and a free SQL tutorial site like W3Schools or Mode?
Free SQL tutorials teach syntax in isolation with no feedback. This course connects SQL to data modelling, dashboards and storytelling with data in a live cohort, so Downtown Boston students leave able to build and present a full analytics project, not just write queries.

Yes — Downtown Boston students receive a certificate of completion plus a portfolio dashboard project they can show in job applications and interviews.
09What happens if I miss a class?
Sessions are recorded, so Downtown Boston students can catch up before the next one. Because the course builds toward one portfolio dashboard project, it's worth staying close to the schedule rather than batching multiple missed sessions.

Yes — the course is specifically designed for Downtown Boston learners moving into a data-adjacent role for the first time, as well as analysts who want their insights to actually change decisions rather than just get filed away.
